Very sorry about the bad luck today Vladamir. The MF1 series will NOT restart a race when only 1 car has retired after 1 lap of a Grand Prix. We WILL restart a race when 40% of the field is wrecked out after 1 lap. We, of course, want everyone to finish however we do have to draw the line somewhere or we will restart 10 times each race. ;)

Qualy i put in a good lap after a few tries and then sat in the pits to see if anyone will beat it, i was pretty sure i was safe. I was checking Mike's times, and when i saw he was up on my time in sector 2, i went out to do another lap, but he lost just enough in S3 for me to keep pole, so i botched that lap.

In race, i was afraid of the back, because of those practice starts. It is good we had 2 practice starts because the first one was hectic.
On the real start i somehow got away good after bogging down off the line, and went to the inside line to try and avoid any avalanches from behind, luckily there werent any. From there on i just tried to open a small gap, but i wasnt pushing hard at all, wanted to get in the rythm and the flow of the track, which is lovely here. And i opened around 8 seconds from Mike and Morten. After some time morten passed mike, and i had to manage the gap the best i could, and i kept him around 7-8s behind. After the pit stops (Where apparently i was one of very little people who obeyed the white line rule on entry) i lost 3 seconds to morten (I am guessing alot of it is because of disobeying white line) and i had to keep it around 4 seconds. He would catch me in s2 and somewhat s3, but i picked up some in s1, so it was nip n tuck for the last 20ish laps. He came as close as 2.8 near the end, but i managed to maintain the gap just far enough not to be pressured.

Great race overall, most of the grid finished, and i think i won my first flag to flag race.

NOTE: Please, i urge you, for the second or third time this season, do NOT type in the chat during race or qualifying sessions. There have been repeat offenses by some drivers, and it is getting really annoying for me, as well as many other drivers.

I ran the Marussia in honor of Jules. We had thought that Zdravko would run it here, but he honored his sponsor Red Bull by staying in the Bull. Z will run it in Germany.

Anyways, my race was simple. I was doing well in Qual, but someone's microphone keyed up and I lost my line in the final turns. My fault for remaining in the same channel as others. I always need silence for top performance. Z you suck.

Race was even more fail. I lost my HUD when the race lights turned on... so I was running blind the whole time. I decided to be cautious of the tires since I could not see how they were wearing, nor how hot they were in the different areas of the track. I made a mistake and shifted down into neutral so Morten got a run on me and got past. After that I let him out about 4 seconds and then tried to close the gap before the pit stops. He entered before I was planning on entering so I went on and found a backmarker who thrashed my second sector. I lost 4 additional seconds to Morten and so I just coasted the rest of the race. Better to be safe than sorry. I was about 24 seconds ahead of the fight for fourth place... so no need to press.

Good stuff guys... on to Germania!
